‘Del Maro’ was born in Ivanivka, Ukraine, and showed a passion for drawing from an early age. Over time, he tried out different techniques and materials before finally discovering his talent for oil painting.

He began with landscape paintings that reflected the beauty of his homeland, but soon discovered other genres such as portraiture and surrealism. In the 1990s, as a result of the reorganisation of society in Crimea and Moscow, he had to assert himself and met many other exceptional artists. They recognised his talent and advised him to attend art school to further improve his skills.

Del Maro's passion for the sea developed as a child when he visited the Aivazovsky Gallery in Feodosia with his parents. This love of the sea is also reflected in his paintings, particularly in the majestic sea battles that he masterfully depicts. Del Maro perfected his talent and eventually became internationally recognised. His wave paintings have an enchanting romanticism that subtly conveys the beauty of the sea and attracts more and more true art lovers. Standing in front of his paintings, one is inevitably reminded of the great art schools and masters of seascapes such as F. Bogolyubov, I. Aivazovsky and L. Lagorio.

Del Maro's works have been exhibited in numerous galleries, published in catalogues and also received many international commissions. Today he is one of the most talented artists of his generation and inspires art lovers all over the world with his impressive works.
